Lunch & Learn: The Current State of Cuba

Join TMJ4’s Charles Benson as he moderates Lunch & Learn: The Current State of Cuba, a discussion with Ricardo Gonzalez and Dr. Raúl Galván about the current state of U.S.-Cuba relations on Wednesday, December 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Latino Arts Auditorium.

Last December 17th, President Barack Obama announced his intentions to begin to normalize relations with Cuba. Among the steps to be taken would be: reestablishing diplomatic relations, facilitating expansion of travel under general licenses for the twelve existing categories for travel to Cuba, facilitating remittances to Cuba by U.S. persons, authorizing new import and export regulations, and reviewing Cuba’s designation as a State Sponsor of Terrorism.
